MILITARY INSPIRED ENGAGEMENT SESSION | GAINESVILLE, FL

This Fourth of July, Christian, Noah and I spent the weekend in Gainesville at the lovely new home of my best friend’s parents. I had never visited Gainesville before and instantly fell in love with the small-town hospitality and full-blown Gator pride. Go Gators! (Don’t judge me ‘Noles – hubby is an FSU alumni – but it’s easy to fall in love with the Gators while in Gainesville – can ya blame me?!) 😉

Back to my story…

Caitlin recently became engaged to Kent, and I found this the perfect opportunity to do a love session with them in their own beautiful backyard. Kent is in the Army’s National Guard so, of course, I asked him to throw on his uniform. It was the perfect way to commemorate this holiday.

I’ve been blessed to know Caitlin since the 10th grade and was beyond excited to capture a few intimate shots of her and her beau. How lucky am I to have photographed my BFF and her fiance as Dainty’s first official couple, evar?! Beyond lucky, I know! Anyway, I love her dearly and am thrilled to be part of her wedding next November as the matron-of-honor. Yay! Thanks again for picking little ole’ me, guys! <3

Please take a moment to enjoy their photos below and join me in congratulating them on their engagement and their future life as a Mr. and a Mrs. 🙂
